I get to celebrate my first American thanksgiving on thursday! Since I am absolutely 0% American I will celebrate everything I have harvested in FarmVille over the past 2 months. I will also eat a copious amount of food including marshmallows and sweet lemon desserts.
A few years ago I celebrated Canadian thanksgiving in Whistler. I lived in a one bedroom apartment with 2 other girls. Yes, we rotated from sleeping on the bed, to the fold out couch, to the free mattress we got from
The Pique newspaper. Since we were all extremely povo and preferred to spend our money on booze rather than food, we bought a pre-stuffed and garnished chicken. After it literally exploded with oil and chicken fat in our 1980's oven we sat down around the kitchen table and picked at it with our filthy housekeeper hands. The moral of the story is that our mattress was stolen from the stairwell. We hid it there because our land
bitchlady was
a bitch and wouldn't let us enjoy life visiting.
Thank the lord of FarmVille I will not have to cook again. A friend is cooking us a thanksgiving dinner. Yum yum.
